Our Commitment to Quality

At TechHouse, we stand behind the quality of the products we sell. All items come with a manufacturer's warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. For added peace of mind, we also offer optional extended warranty plans on selected products in accordance with UK consumer laws.

Manufacturer's Warranty

Most products include a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. The specific terms and duration vary by brand and product category. During this period, the manufacturer will repair or replace (at their discretion) any defective part or unit, provided the product has been used according to instructions. This is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

What's Covered?

  • Failures due to manufacturing defects
  • Faulty components or workmanship
  • Non-conformity to specifications

What's Not Covered?

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, battery capacity loss over time)
  • Accidental damage, misuse, or neglect
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Accessories such as cables, cases, and screen protectors (may have separate limited coverage)
  • Software issues or data loss

Extended Warranty Plans

During checkout, you may be offered an extended warranty for certain products (laptops, smartphones, consoles, etc.). These plans add extra years of coverage beyond the manufacturer's warranty and often include accidental damage protection.

  • Up to 3 additional years of coverage
  • Accidental damage from drops, spills, and electrical surges
  • No deductibles on most claims

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product is covered under warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact TechHouse Support – Email us at contactus@techhouse.com or call +44 7942 932334. Have your order number and a description of the issue ready. You can also reach us on WhatsApp at the same number.
  2. Diagnosis & Verification – Our support team may ask for photos, videos, or troubleshooting steps to confirm the defect.
  3. Return Authorization – If the claim is approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.
  4. Ship the Product – Pack the item securely, include proof of purchase, and ship it to our UK service centre. Keep a tracking number for your records.
  5. Repair or Replacement – Once received and inspected, we will arrange for repair or replacement. Turnaround time depends on the manufacturer.

Note: For extended warranty claims, follow the same process; our team will guide you based on your specific plan.


Warranty Limitations & Legal Rights

The warranties provided are in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These rights include the right to a refund, repair, or replacement for faulty goods within 30 days of purchase, and the right to a repair or replacement for up to six years for items that do not last a reasonable length of time.

TechHouse acts as a retailer and facilitates warranty service on behalf of manufacturers. We are not responsible for delays or decisions made by the manufacturer, but we will advocate on your behalf to ensure a fair resolution.
