Refurbished ‘Great’ is a Grade A, the very best quality that you could expect from a refurbished device. These devices are in near-mint condition. Their cosmetic aspect is excellent and they show next to no signs of previous use.
With a refurbished ‘Great’ grade phone, you will see very minimal amounts of scuffing on the case. It will look (almost) like new, with very minimal amounts of scuffing and marks. Some devices will likely show typical signs of light usage (e.g. slight dull-areas on the casing) but you shouldn’t expect to see any scratches, chips or significant blemishes.
Refurbished ‘Good’ are Grade B, the second-best quality you can expect from a refurbished device. These refurbished products feature some light scratches or scuffs. Bear in mind this is only a cosmetic condition difference with Great-grade devices; They are tested thoroughly and are perfectly functional.
Because of these small signs of use, these products are more affordable than brand-new/Great items. Something to keep in mind if your budget is limited.
Refurbished ‘Average’ grade is the lowest quality of a refurbished device, that is still in working order. Although these refurbished items have been tested and are confirmed to work, they do show signs of heavy or even excessive usage by their previous owner.
You will see very noticeable cosmetic issues with a refurbished Average-grade items, including more significant scratches and signs of wear and tear on the case or lid. These devices are much cheaper than the other grades of products, making them ideal for those who need a new, working phone but have very little money to spare.
